INSTA-PAK 22 - Pump gland packing for Water and mild chemicals

Insta-Pak 22 is a gland packing with high quality diagonally braided pure stable PTFE fiber with impregnation of fine dispersion of highly purified PTFE. Free of Silicon. Free of Asbestos.

Insta-Pak 22 is a soft and pliable gland packing that needs little or no adjustment. It withstands a good range of temperatures and is ideally suited for most applications except for highly corrosive media. It offers very little resistance to the shaft movement and does not wear the shaft. It needs very little tightening thereby giving longer life.

Benefits:

Insta-Pak 22 will not stain or develop free particles into the media being handled. Being pure PTFE, it is also safe for accidental contact with food and pharmaceutical media. However pure Food grade versions are also available. It will drastically reduce inventory as this can be applied on a wide range of applications.

Applications: It can be used in all rotary pumps, piston pumps, agitators, valves, mixers, sliders etc. It is recommended for water, general chemicals, oil, solvents, steam etc.

Insta-Pak 44 is an all round gland packing for almost all applications that include water, mild chemicals, strong chemicals like caustics, phosphates, solvents, hot gases, steam, alcohol, heat transfer agents etc. It can be even used for bolier feed pumps. 

Insta-Pak 44 dissipates heat during operation reducing the burn- out risk. It is soft and pliable as compared to normal gland packings.  It withstands high temperatures and offers good resistance to high corrosion. It remains chemically stable even under continuous adverse conditions. It will not extrude easily like other graphite packings.
